Pozývame ťa na náš brazílsky večer, ktorý bude patriť bossa nove, tradičným brazílskym rytmom a mixu štýlov samba, samba-rock a afro-samba.
V úvode večera sa predstaví náš vzácny hosť Giovanni a.k.a. AnniMa - brazílsky inštrumentalista a skladateľ z Niterói, Rio de Janeiro. Predstaví prierez svojej autorskej tvorby, svetoznáme brazílske hity, aj nekonvenčné skvosty brazílskej hudobnej kultúry.
Spoločne s violončelistkou Katarín Zima v duo formácii odohrajú ich bossa nova set (gitara, spev, violončelo). Katarín tiež predstaví niekoľko vlastných autorských skladieb dizajnovaných pre cello a looper.
Po živom (dvoj)koncerte nekončíme. Čaká nás skvelý brazílsky DJ Dú Cabelo, pochádzajúci zo slnečného štátu São Paulo. Náš dobrý priateľ pre teba prichystá elegatnú selekciu samby a jej rozličných štýlových odnoží, pri ktorej si zvesela zakrepčíš. 🔥 Ty. Ja. My všetci.

🎤 Giovanni, aka AnniMa Mood, is a Brazilian instrumentalist and composer from Niterói, Rio de Janeiro. From an early age, he was involved in music through his maternal family. At 15, he was already showing his talent by performing at small events and bars in his neighborhood. He is deeply influenced by the artist Beto Guedes, a member of the Clube da Esquina, and the maestro Tom Jobim, both of whose works reflect the essence of Brazil's musical diversity. From the batuques of the Amazon rainforest to the samba and bossa nova of Rio de Janeiro, as well as the rhythms of the Northeast, baião, xote, and forró, AnniMa captures the true face of the Brazilian soul in a simple, primitive, yet sophisticated way that shows his personal vision developed through years of dedication and discipline to popular music in Brazil.
In Brazil, he started very young as the leader of his first band, then accompanied several artists, was part of a few bands, and experimented with a variety of Brazilian rhythms. He decided to live in Europe in 2010 after obtaining his Italian passport, to experience new musical standards, and started his solo career. He has performed in several cities in Europe, playing his own compositions as well as works by his favorite Brazilian artists in places such as Berlin, Amsterdam, Paris, Lisbon, Hamburg, Bratislava, and the Czech Republic. In 2025, AnniMa collaborated with Oscar Jerome, opening his show at Prague's acclaimed jazz club, JazzDock. He currently lives in Prague, where he performs and produces his independent work.
He has three albums available on Spotify: Rainy Days, Luminosity, and Time Flies. He has also recorded and produced two electronic music albums: Meeting Through Screen on SoundCloud and AnniMaMood on Bandcamp.

🎻 Katarín Zima is a Slovak cellist channeling her musicality from the depths of the Slovak mountains, with a mind drifting on the waves of experimental music full of (di)fusions. In her solo work, she explores elements of improvisation, meditative trance, and imagination, which she subconsciously intertwines with traditional Slavic motifs and sounds from her adventurous travels. Her expression is shaped through the use of a looper, electronic samples, elemental instruments, and subtle imprints of her voice.

🪩 DJ Dú Cabelo - has been a resident dj since the early 2000’s in some pubs, art ateliers and clubs in different cities within the São Paulo state, playing a variety of Brazilian music. He had a long break and he resumed playing, but then in Europe as soon as the pandemic was over in 2022. His research goes beyond and into the cracks of samba music, bringing samba-rock, Afro-samba and some other traditional Brazilian music in his luggage enabling a happy and danceable environment everywhere he plays throughout Austria, Czech Republic and Slovakia nowadays.
